A place where you can do everything or relax and
do nothing at all. We are located in Sunbury,
Pennsylvania on Packer Island, along the banks of
beautiful Lake Augusta (the Susquehanna River).
The 3,000 acre lake is formed by the Susquehanna
River, in conjunction with the inflation of the Adam
T. Bower Memorial Dam each summer. At 2,100
feet long, it is the world's largest inflatable dam.
The lake averages 7-8 feet in depth. It is a popular
area for water recreation, including boating,
fishing, and swimming.

We have approximately 100 sites. All sites have water,
electric, and sewer hook-ups. Each has a poured
concrete patio and many have a concrete slab for
conveniently parking your RV on as well. We open for
the season on April 15th and close each year on
October 15th.
Fantasy Island Campground is your family friendly
camping destination! We have a full range of activities
for the entire family. Including special themed
weekends and top names in local entertainment. Our
heated in-ground swimming pool is a great place to
cool off on those hot summer days or play a round of
golf on our 9-hole miniature golf course. New for 2010,
we will also be having Fire Engine rides, on a real 1925
Ford "Model T" Fire Truck! A rare classic!

We are located directly across from the beautiful
Shikellamy State Park and only a very short ride to the
astounding views from the Shikellamy Overlook. We
are also just a short drive from America's largest FREE
admission amusement park, Knoebel's Amusement
Resort. Nearby are several area universities, as well as
several shopping centers, local antique stores, flea
markets, fine restaurants, and more. To see a full

If you don't have an RV but still want to experience the joy
of camping. We have a rustic style log cabin available for
reservation.
Our "Little House on the Prairie" style cabin can sleep up
to six people with it's double bed sized, bunk beds, and
twin single beds in the loft area. It features a half bath
and also comes equipped with an air conditioner, ceiling
fan, and mini fridge.
